Solar panel installation
We have invested in the installation of solar panels to reduce our environmental impact and support renewable energies. Producing twice our annual electricity needs, our solar installation allows us to envisage future low-energy impact installations. The surplus electricity produced will be redistributed to the grid and used by our nearest neighbors.
Terra Provence has long been involved in supporting solar energy, in particular through its participation as a member of village power plants for over 5 years.

Recycling plastic packaging and limiting the use of consumables
Aware of the importance of plastic packaging in the industry, and thanks to the installation of our distillery and associated steam generators, we can dry-steam clean, sterilize and reuse a large proportion of our plastic packaging.
Likewise, thanks to our long-term partnerships with local producers, we work together to reuse HDPE drums in good condition, so that they can be reused year after year for the same productions.
However, despite all these efforts at reuse, some plastic waste cannot be reused and is therefore directed to an appropriate recycling channel.
Buy locally and reduce air imports
Similarly: 35% of our purchases are made within a 100 km radius, and 55% of our purchases and services are carried out in France (see map).
However, many of the products we sell are also imported from third countries, which raises concerns about their environmental impact. It is difficult to produce and harvest the majority of these products in France, due to the specific nature of the terroirs.
To reduce this impact, we favor imports by sea and grouped shipments.
We also became shareholders in the new shipping company Windcoop, a cargo-ship whose construction began in 2024. The vessel will open its first service between Marseille and Madagascar in 2026, offering a low-carbon transport model that respects both people and the environment.
